DYNAMIC POSITIONING (DP)

...is a computer-controlled system to automatically maintain a vessel’s position and heading by using its own propellers and thrusters. Position reference sensors, combined with wind sensors, motion sensors and gyrocompasses, provide information to the computer pertaining to the vessel’s position and the magnitude and direction of environmental forces affecting its position.

The T-28 Pick-up provides an extraordinary stability thus the sensation of seasickness totaly deleted. Passengers are located away of the engine rooms which reduces noise and vibration. Moreover a panoramic view due to large windows and a two half-level deck, make smoother transfer.

Ballistics protection : Protection standard: NIJ level III nato standard 7.62mm 9.3 gram full metal case bullet at 10m. Bridge sides, front and aft including windows (excludes roof and deck) Material: Bizalloy steel plate and Ultraglaze glass at 46mm thick. Piracy is completely removed with fast cruising speed of 45 kts.

The T-28 Pick-up is efficient, manoeuvrable and is an additional working tool for all operations which take place at sea. Robust with precision steering and an ability to turn flat in all circumstances, it offers new professional perspectives as a result. The low operating costs of the quadrimaran combined with its versatility makes it ideal for all types of assignments. The T-28 Pick-up allow an implantation of 4 engines, one per hull. What makes the boat always operational in all circumstances, with 2 engines for working speed between 0 and 30 knots for LESS consomation to 432 l/h. Indeed, this represents a real benefit efficiency.
In case of damage to a motor, Tera-4 guaranteed a navigation speed of 16 knots with only one engine. In the case of a need for engine change, access is through a trap-door bolted, simply and directly above the engine room.
